Do you think I sound like a Pollyanna fairy with gold dust? Well, get over it! I'm actually a 'recovering' cynic and pessimist with no patience for all that is woo woo. However, as a psychologist I went beyond the Birkenstocks, sticky notes on the mirror with 'I'm beautiful' written on it and motivational speakers on emotional and financial steroids. I've researched the science behind positive thinking and happy living with promising results, which I will share with anyone.
I left my job as an academic and psychotherapist to enter the world of coaching psychology where we apply all that is good and effective to promote the human potential for lasting health, wealth and happiness. As a hybrid between coaching and psychology, we get the best of both worlds of science and application! If Freud, Anthony Robbins and Oprah Winfrey had a lovechild, it would be coaching psychology.
What makes me qualified to spread all this goodness? I have degrees and qualifications in psychology, counselling, consulting and group dynamics from all over the place, including Harvard University. I also teach group process at the University of Cambridge. Well, come to think of it, that just makes me a big egghead. honestly, what qualifies me to share is how I apply my collective knowledge, 20 years of professional practice and my 40+ years of life experience.
Currently, I'm the resident coaching psychologist for an international marketing network and a coach/trainer for a consulting firm. I also run my own personal consulting business where I see individual clients. In all that I do, I am my clients' wake-up call, honest mirror and doubt patrol, all rolled into one.
