Layla -J began her music career at the very young age of 5 when she taught herself how to play piano without reading music . Layla-J discovered her musical talent at a very small age and realized she has a great 'Ear' for music . Layla-J studied at the Academy of contemporary music at the age of 16 where she began to study the art of musical performance.

Now Layla-J has started to use her songwriting and singing talents to conquer the dance industry . Layla's fantastic writing skills have given her the opportunity to work with some great dance producers over the last 6 months (Aimar/Reflex/Rupert Romaro/Plush da funky and many more ). In fact Layla-J is now heavily in demand with many new dance producers in the industry as she brings something different in her sound which is very sexy and unique.

Layla-j will be having her first 'release' which is due to come out later on this year which is a collaboration with Aimar and Sindre . Their track 'Desert Snow' has been signed to Fektive Records which is set to be released later on this year . Layla J's track 'Butterflies' has also been signed to a American label 'Nightrain' records which is also set to come out in the U.S later on this year.
