Bournemouth
Â
Make no mistake, the days of Bournemouth being 'God's waiting room' are gone. Don't get me wrong, this is still a hugely popular town for the senior set but most have disposable incomes that stretch beyond a 99' and a Deck Chair and prefer to relax in one of the many up-market wine bars and hotels. And with this money breeds more people arriving with cash to burn thus perpetuating the circle of life in Bournemouth.
Â
Okay yes it has million-pound properties, stunning 'Blue Flag' golden sands, clear ocean water, water sports, champagne by intravenous drip, and houses that most peoples imaginations couldn't afford but if you are coming here for a couple of days here is our rapid recommendation for what to do in a 'One day' shuttle stopin the great town.

The Beaches | ||
| The one place that deserves all the hype it gets in Bournemouth is the beaches. Constantly rated some of the best in the UK, arguably the world, the beaches in Bournemouth - with their golden sand, clear blue waters and and average of 8-hours sunshine per day in the summer - have to be seen. We think that in the summer there is nothing better than the walk or ride from Bournemouth Pier to Sandbanks. |
